I felt like I couldn’t be a leader, too.
For a long time, I totally scoffed at the idea of being a leader

In my mind, running an online business was completely different from being a CEO or having a "corporate" business. But the truth was, that was just me thinking I wasn't ready.

After all, I had never held a management position in my life and I was in my early 20s...the idea seemed laughable.

But, when I took the leap, what I found out is that being a leader wasn’t as hard as I imagined it would be. I was able to create resources for myself that helped me along every step of the way.

I was terribly afraid of failing. At one point, I didn’t feel like my business would ever grow to the point of accommodating a team.
I think every business owner experiences this at some point. 

That sneaky little voice in the back of our head that cripples us and tries to tell us that the goals that we have are too big, or that our business will never break certain milestones. 

If I told you that I never had those fears, I’d be lying.

Being able to sustain a team of people scared me. The idea of my business failing and people being out of a job seemed like a huge burden to carry.
Once you start thinking about a team, accountability gets real

At first, the thought of having people depend on my business to succeed scared me. 

Suddenly, I wasn’t just a girl with a laptop working with clients. I was a leader, a boss, a manager...all the things that I had once associated with icky corporate 9-5 jobs. 

That realization hit me really hard, and of course I panicked.

But remember — what you think will happen and what actually happens are two different things. You get to choose the kind of team leader you’ll be. 

And trust me, with more time available to search for and build on opportunities for your business, there’s no other direction you can go but up.

I remember when I first started my business in 2015. 

It felt like I had all the odds going against me. 

I was only 23, fresh out of college, with little to no work experience.

But that didn’t stop me. 

Soon, I was running an online virtual assistant business and things felt amazing. Here I was making money online, in a field that I had no experience in, and on top of that I was young. 

I was doing everything society had told me that I couldn’t. (Do you remember when you had life-changing that moment? When you realized that damn, I can really make this work?)

Whelp — it didn’t last long. 
Soon, I hit a glass ceiling. 

I realized that I was spending most of my time doing client work, and my business was suffering because of it — even with all the automation in the world, I couldn’t successfully juggle:

• marketing my business
• finding and vetting new clients
• creating amazing work for said clients
• giving them great customer service
• not to mention my notebook full of dreams about things I wanted to do in my business, but never had time for

I was doing this ALL ON MY OWN

Something had to give, and usually it was my sanity.

Yup, a few years ago, I was just like you...
I was so caught up with working IN my business, that I didn’t get the time to work ON my business. 

A typical day involved these things:
  •   Unfinished to-do lists. Just taking a glance at my to-do list would send me into a spiral of anxiety because I could never finish everything that I needed to, even the super important tasks.
  •  Feeling like I was stuck on a hamster wheel. From the minute my eyes opened to when I went to bed, it was just go, go, go. I never got time to really think about what I was doing — just that I was always doing it.
  •  Forgetting important tasks. Sometimes, I’d forget to do something SUPER important for my biz, and then I’d feel bad about it for the rest of the day because I just didn’t have a proper way of managing all I needed to do.
  •  Not giving my 100% to each of my clients. Because I was stretched so thin, it was difficult for me to do my best with each job that came my way. Instead, I was working at multiple projects at a time, which meant that I didn’t do as well as I would have liked.
Does that typical day sound familiar? I bet it does.
Thankfully I’m not in this situation anymore, but man it was a heck of alot of work for me to move from being an overworked solopreneur to leading a team of 15 amazing women.
It took tons of trial and error, a lot of tough conversations with myself, and a whole heap of guessing, mistakes and flat-out failures.

You take a break to welcome your kids home from school, and make them something to eat. 

You have an urgent client query that just came in via email, but a member of your team already handled it without you even knowing.
4:45 PM
Your day’s winding down. Everything you wanted to accomplish for your own business got done. 

In addition, work for your clients got done, and you didn’t have to do it. 

Instead of feeling stressed out about everything that you didn't get done from your to-do list, you were able to close two 5-figure deals you're super excited about, plus do some strategizing on the framework of a potential 6-figure launch — all while being present in the lives of the people who matter most to you.

      WHAT IS THE TIMELINE OF THE COURSE?
      Anyone who purchases using the full-pay option will get immediate access to all of the material, to review at your own speed. Anyone who purchases with a payment plan option will receive the course content dripped out over the course of 12 weeks. The first 11 weeks, you will receive 1 module per week, and then all of the bonus content will drop on the 12th week.

      IS THERE A LIVE COMPONENT OR COACHING INCLUDED?
      There may not be any one-on-one or group coaching calls included with the course, but there is a private Facebook group where you can ask questions and chat with the other members of the course. You can also email me privately if you have a question you don't want to share with everyone. My goal is to give you as much support as possible as you go through the course.
